Buying gifts online often leads to a lot of questions - Where is your store based? How long will my order take to arrive? Can I return it if it’s not right?

Congratulations aims to take the stress out of gifts online. We are based right here in New Zealand, ship your goods as soon as possible, and we welcome you to reach out if something isn’t right with your order. 

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to questions. Below we try to cover off everything we find our customers asking. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out. 

Is your store sustainable?

We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and always looking for ways to improve our sustainability practices.

We are conscious of the need to ensure your items arrive on your doorstep free from damage but at the same time uphold our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

We focus on reducing our waste by reusing any soft plastic packaging received from our suppliers as void packaging in our goods dispatch and using recyclable and reusable products in our signature gift wrapping. 

Our products and packaging are sourced in bulk from New Zealand suppliers as much as possible to help reduce carbon emissions and to support fellow New Zealand businesses.

We handpick every item in our store with longevity, quality, and social responsibility in mind, from our network of New Zealand based distributors who share our values.

Are you a New Zealand business?

Yes, we are! All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST. Our orders ship from the top of the South Island in Blenheim, NZ.

Can you ship my gift directly to the recipient?

Absolutely, just make sure you enter the recipient’s delivery details when checking out.

Do you ship internationally?

No just within New Zealand at this stage.

How much do you charge for delivery?

What if I want to change my order or if I have a special request?

If you need to make changes to your order or have any special requests please send us an email to hello@congratulations.nz and we should be able to sort it out for you if your order has not been dispatched.  Make sure you include your phone number if you would like a call back.

Do you offer complimentary gift wrapping?

Yes, we love to make your purchase look beautiful and special by wrapping all gifts in our signature gift wrapping. Our gift wrapping is recyclable and reusable, and we strive to minimise the use of extra packaging where we can, to reduce our impact on the environment.

Can I opt for no gift wrapping?

Yes, just let us know in the comments box in the shopping cart.

Can I send a message with my gift?

We will send one of our complimentary NZ designed and printed cards with your gift, so just pop your message into the notes box in your shopping cart and we will handwrite it onto the card for you.

What is your returns policy?

If your package incurs damage during transit, or you are unhappy with your purchase, visit our Returns and Exchanges page to see how we can help.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to dispatch all orders to our courier within 24 hours and you should allow a further 1 – 3 days for delivery.  Click here for shipping information.

What happens if my item is not in stock?

Once you have placed your order via our website you will receive an automated email with details of the items you have ordered. We do our best to ensure that our website inventory is current and up to date however sometimes our systems and technology lets us down.  If we are unable to supply an ordered item, we will contact you immediately to offer an alternative.  If there is no available alternative, we will refund you immediately using the original method of payment.
